Additional Bell information (diameter, weight, etc).

To date, there have been 146 peals rung on the bells.

Practices are normally held on a Thursday commencing at 8.00 pm. The bells are also rung for the usual Sunday morning service commencing at 8.30 am.

We are always on the lookout for more ringers, either people who have learned in the past who would like to come again or others who may wish to learn to ring from scratch. Young people are welcome but, due to the size of the bells, they would need to be at least 10 years of age to be able to handle the bells.

For more information about bellringing at St James please contact our Tower Captain: Brian Owen on Tel: 01706 633151

Tower visits welcome by appointment.
